Mailbox sensor antenna

I don’t have the option of mounting the antenna on the outside of my mailbox. I live in an apartment complex that has those “cluster” mailboxes. Will the sensor still work if I’m out the antenna on the inside of the mailbox with the sensor itself?

    Hi @BlairBizz. We do not recommend using the Ring Mailbox Sensor in a shared mailbox. A Ring Bridge is also required to receive notifications, and might not reach a mailroom in a residential building. Additionally, the antenna cannot be installed properly on a shared mailbox.
