Disconnects, keeps flashing twice, no reconnect

Put a second battery floodlight about 15 feet away from bridge. It loses connection after a while and starts flashing twice. It does not reconnect even if put next to the bridge and even if battery replaced. Is it faulty? (Other floodlight 9 feet away is fine. When put in place of the other it also disconnects but it does reconnect when moved closer.
