Video doorbell 3, static sound when button pressed

My doorbell 3 makes a horrendous static sound and stops recording briefly when ever it is pressed. Connection to the internet is absolutely fine and a regular health check via the app is telling me its as good as can be! Any possible answers or solutions would be much appreciated.
