Ring pro 2 water ingress
Hi, Has anyone had this problem with water getting in around the plastic cover over the camera? Doorbell isn’t even a year old yet paid £219 for it and been told on the phone by customer service that physical failure isn’t covered by warranty only technical failure. Pretty shocked that I’ve paid that amount of money for it and the warranty is useless to help. Doorbell is under a canopy so does not get exposed to much rain at all. Was offered a 30% voucher as a courtesy but I won’t be buying another ring product now.

After looking online looks like this is a common manufacturing defect that ring aren’t willing to help out there customers with a take responsibility for. After looking online you can’t even buy a replacement lense! So basically a scam. Won’t be buying another ring doorbell even with the 30% discount offered, especially not if I have to replace my £219 doorbell every year 😂

If water has ingressed, which it has, it will soon be a Technical Failure! Give it a week and call them back, tell them the video keeps going black or something.
