Ring Doorbell Does Not Chime When Visitors Press The Button After Motion Chimes Have Sounded
Hello All, I’ve just recently purchased and installed a new battery Ring Video-Doorbell and have it solely active and chiming through my smart phone only. But I have noticed one little thing that is slightly annoying me. When someone approaches my door, the chimes go off on my smart phone alerting me of motion detection and a notification appears on screen, but when the visitor presses the Doorbell button, my phone doesn’t always chime to let me know someone is standing at my door. it’s only when i grab my phone to look at what’s caused the motion detection that I notice I have someone at the door. At this point I then see a notification on my screen alerting me of someones presence at the door. I had my wife try it out a few times for me. First time she approached the door she set off the motion detection and pressed the bell. I got the notification pop-up and chimes for motion detection but no bell chime sound but did get a notification pop-up alerting me that someone was there She done it a second time by walking away for a few minutes and starting again. She approached and set off the motion alerts and sounds again, BUT this time the bell actually chimed on my phone and still got the notification pop-up alerting me someone was there She done it a 3rd time and it’s the same story and the 1st time She told me the blue light illuminates on that the Doorbell every time she pressed it and it chimes in her ear every time, so why am I not getting all of the doorbell chimes through my phone? As far as I know all the settings are correct and the WIFI signal is strong. Just not sure why it’s doing this. Hope someone can help me before my head Thank you
