Ring Doorbell 3 Plus - sudden signal issue

Hi, So I have the RD3 Plus, fitted it a few weeks ago, hardwired. Signal has been fine, but now all of a sudden it’s losing signal to the router which is about 7m away. Not sure why all of a sudden it’s not working! I have the Ring alarm system, does anyone know if the extender... extends to the door bell or just the alarm system? Thanks Any ideas? Thanks :)
