We have had a doorbell for less than a year and the black cover has started to becoming damaged by the elements and taking the coating off. How is this device going to last if the cover can’t withstand the weather?!

      If it's less than a year old then it's covered under warranty. Get on to the retailer and ask for a replacement, it is your right.

      Doesn't matter who the retailer is, the law is the law.Amazon has a customer chat, they can usually sort stuff out there and then. In actually fact Amazon are easier to deal with than Ring!
