Significantly slower performance post-firmware update - v1 Ring Doorbell

Hi all, My first post here. :smiley: So far I have been really happy with my Ring Doorbell. I was a (relatively) early adopter and have the original version of the product which runs on battery. Since the recent software update I have noticed a severe degradation of performance - motion notifications are MUCH slower (sometimes as much as 5 seconds), and sometimes motion isn't recognised all. I have also noticed that battery performance has significantly worsened, which is very disappointing given that the product is only a little over 12 months old. Has anyone experienced similar? Do you have any recommendations on how to restore normal function and improve battery life? Thanks in advance - hope everyone is keeping safe! R
