Ring Doorbell 2 - please do not buy

Hi Everybody, My ring door bell2 is relatively new and it has failed on me on several occasions, it just does not capture the image when people walk up the door, but captures images only when the person starts walking away from the door. I have tried every setting in the book, motion sensitivity - motion frequency, firmware update and it certainly does not need a wedge mount either, as I don't have stairs leading to my door and it is not a busy street . I had an incident last night where someone walked towards the door, did the inappropriate thing but sadly the DoorBell2 captured the image only when the person started walking away from the door. Please do your research before you buy a Ring product, as it is not an effective Smart DoorBell. I wouldn't want you to experience the same. Have a great day / stay safe .
