! Doorbell 2 - Zones Help

Recently purchased Ring Doorbell 2 - I am using the Blue sensor adjustment (drag or use slider) as my front door 5 steps and is the road. I am using the top wedge to tip the top down to stop car/truck traffic and also putting the slider on minimum to pull in the blue fog to also take the sensor off the road. Unfortunately, it is still picking up the road traffic, even after adding my own, thinner wedge behind the Ring wedge. No difference, still traffic. I would add more wedge behind the Ring top edge, but I don't want the camera to cut off top of the head in Video recording person at the door. ---- I find a 3 section area to turn on or off sections... but do not find the 6 zoned area as I have seen messages of others with a Ring Doorbell 2 say they have to adjust 6 sections. --- However, in searching around in my Ring app area in the settings... 2 times I came across a window that did have 6 section zones, 5 across in a fan and the 6th in the bottom center under the 5 zones.. and I could adjust etc... but I cannot find where this feature is. Seems it is trying to open but I cannot find where it is located . Can somone help me the steps finding the 6 zone settings. Do I need to update my Ring App somewhere. Thanks

Hey @JRing19! If you feel you are needing an update, you can check for an available update by searching the Ring app in your mobile device's app store. You may also remove the Ring app and reinstall it on your mobile device. That being said, the motion zones you are seeing are proper. Check out our [help center article about motion zones](https://support.ring.com/hc/en-us/articles/360022462472-Utilizing-Motion-Detection-with-your-Ring-Battery-Devices) and the Video Doorbell 2 for tips on optimizing motion detection. I recommend also looking into the Motion Frequency setting, as it is intended to preserve battery and prevent constant alerts in high traffic areas. I hope this helps! :)

Thanks for the reply Marley\_Ring - Admin... But my problem is I cannot get to the 6 motion zone feature (image below)... I did find it 2 times but have been unable to locate the feature settings again. I see in many places that my Ring Doorbell 2 should have this feature though.. Do I need to do an update - where on the Ring App can I do that? Can you or any Community member help me locate this in the Ring App from my Android phone? I would appreciate the help :-\ Thanks.. \*\*\*\*\*\*\*\*\*\*\*\*\*\*\*\*\*\*\*\*\*\*\*\*\*\*\*\*\*\*\*\*\*\*\*\*\*\*\*\*\*\*\*\*\*\* Marley\_Ring Community Manager Marley\_Ring Community Manager Wednesday Re: ! Thank you for sharing that example @JRing19! Those zones look to actually be the older version, whereas the newer version on our battery devices are optimized. Check out our [help center article](https://support.ring.com/hc/en-us/articles/360022462472-Utilizing-Motion-Detection-with-your-Ring-Battery-Devices) about motion zones on battery devices for more information on what they should look like. If you feel you are still needing to update your Ring app, please open a web browser on your Android device and type "Ring.com/app" in the address bar. Feel free to reach out to our [support team](https://support.ring.com/hc/en-us/articles/360036196372-Get-in-Touch) for a more in-depth look at your zones. :)
