It’s really frustrating that ring still doesn’t allow two owners on an account. Both adults in the home should be able to have equal access to settings. I have seen others request this feature multiple times since 2020. For example we updated our broadband service yesterday and I have been left without cameras, doorbell and alarm because as a shared user I can’t update WiFi settings and my partner is out of the country and cannot either.

I completely agree. Definitely a feature miss by ring's product team. Add this feature request to your product backlog, give it priority and get a small team on it. People have been asking for this feature for at least 5 years.
