Ring Devices Not Connecting to Ubiquiti Amplifi Mesh Network
For some strange reason the Ring cameras will not connect to an Amplifi network if you do not set the Amplifi network to bridge mode. Solutiuon: 1. Using the Amplifi application on your smart phone navigate to the Amplifi router (not the mesh point). 2. Go to "Internet" 3. At the very bottom of the list you will find a toggle button for Bridge Mode. 4. Turn Bridge mode on (your router will be reboot) 5. Connect your Ring devices 6. After you have all of your Ring devices setup and working Repeat steps 1 through 3 7. Take your router out of Bridge Mode (the router will reboot) You should be good to go.

Problem: I have an Amplifi Router HD and a Ring Doorbell Pro 2 and had a similar issue. After functioning well for months, it dropped off the network. When I attempted to reconnect, the doorbell would not auto-connect to the Amplifi router. I then attempted to manually connect, but the Ring SSID that the app told me to connect to with my iPhone did not display in the Wi-Fi settings. Solution: I setup a separate 2.4 SSID on the Amplifi router and ran the setup again, and the doorbell auto connected to the 5GHz network on the first try. Note: I did contact Ring support (XXXXXXXXXX and they said their cameras do not work reliably on mesh networks. Amplifi: As brianjsanders stated in his post, if you do put the Amplifi in bridge mode, you will most likely have issues with reconnecting any device to the network. I tried it just to see what the result would be and it led to me needing to reset the Amplifi router. Simple to do but make sure you have your current SSID name and password before you reset or you may end up reconnecting all wi-fi devices. You may also need to reconfigure all static IP addresses as the Amplifi may change it's local IP address. Mine changed from XX.XX.XX.XX, to XX.XX.XX.XX. Hope this helps someone.

Only do this if you have another router set up as well. I tried this and had to reset and reconfigure my router just to get my internet to work again.
