Beware When Canceling!!!
If you’re like most people I know with Ring products, you’re either replacing your system due to the recent app “updates” or you’re close to that point. When I canceled my Ring subscription, customer service attempted to issue my refund as a Ring credit, despite my clear explanation that I was switching providers and would never use their services again. I had to specify twice that the refund should go back to my original payment method, yet days later, I received an email stating that a Ring credit had been applied to my account. I called back, and sure enough, they had ignored everything I said and misrepresented what they were doing. Now, they claim the refund is being processed to my bank card. Be sure to triple-check anything they tell you, especially when it involves money. However much you dislike this company – it’s not enough!
