Solar panel not charging Ring doorbell

I dont understand why this solar panel isnt working. I've reset the unit multiple times, reset the wifi settings, plugging it in to the panel fully charged and nothing works. The device health shows that the power source is still "battery". I am very unhappy with wasting the money on this.
