Ring Chime Pro 2. will not connect to internet
I have been using 2 x Ring 2 Pro Chimes without issue for a couple of years. Recently I upgraded my Vodafone router to the Vodafone Ultra router. Since then I have not been able to reconnect my Chimes. The wired Ring doorbell is unaffected. I am on full fibre broadband running at 900Mbps and the Chime is within 6 feet of the router. The new router runs at 2.4, 5 and 6kHz. Every time I try to reset the Chimes it connects them to the Ring app, but not to the internet (connection reaches 95% then fails). I tried, as advised by Ring technical support, to try connecting the Chimes to my mobile phone hotspot. It makes no difference. Getting really frustrated now as cannot hear any chime when people ring the doorbell. Does anyone have a fix?

Can you offer any specific advice regarding ports and protocols? The Vodafone ultra hub does not allow you to change wi-fi channels or bandwidths. I am having the same problem, I have tried turning off firewall, splitting SSID into 2.4GHz and 5GHz via the Vodafone broadband app. I've turned off IPv6. I would consider doing the port forwarding but it asks for public ports and local ports and I'm not sure what to do with this, and if it should be TCP/UDP or TCP or UDP individually. Ring doorbell connects fine, but cannot get Chime Pro 2nd Gen to work at all.

CHi @user_be9b2f. We have information on the ports and protocols used by Ring devices here https://ring.com/support/articles/xws8s/Protocols-and-Ports-Used-by-Ring-Devices. You may need to contact your internet service provider if you're unable to access these settings on your network.

Hi @rob1204. First, make sure that you are using the correct Ports and Protocols. You'll also want to check your router channels. If your Chime Pro is able to connect to a wifi hotpsot, but not your network, you'll need to look into changing your security settings.
