Installing ChimePro that was my parents

I am trying to install a ChimePro that was originally at my parents home. They purchased two and only needed one. I was given the 2nd one. I received a message while trying to install that the ChimePro belongs to my parents. They are 90 and have no idea how to release it to me, and neither do I. What happened to the simple days of just plug in and go.

Hi @KelleK317. To active the Chime Pro on you account, your parents will first need to remove the Chime Pro from their account. To do this, login to the Ring app and select the Chime Pro, then go to General Settings and remove. Once this is complete, you'll be able to set this up on your account. Best of luck!
