Chime Poor Wi-Fi Connection

Chime is showing a poor wifi connection as its status, reports RSSI-75. It's about 10' away from the closest AP, no concerns on the signal strength. Think, though, that is associating with one of the 4 other AP's in the home further away. (Ubiquiti network if it matters.) Are there any issues with 2 vs. 5Ghz, or "preference" to a specific channel that the Chime suffers from? Is there a way to "steer" it to the closest AP? Thanks!
