Wow - Horrible Experience Trying to Get Support Regarding Free Installation *Allegedly* Offered With Enhanced Bundle

I have been waiting a week to receive the promo code that will provide me with free installation of my new enhanced whole home kit. I finally decided to reach out to Ring to figure out where this code was. I first reached out over chat and the chat agent - very rudely - told me there was nothing they could do and that I had to call OnTech (a company I have never heard of) to get the promo code. Well this was wrong. I called OnTech, and after waiting 30 minutes on hold there, they said "no, you need to talk to Ring." So I proceed to reach back out to Ring - this time by phone. After 40 minutes on the phone, I find out that I will not be receiving a promo code because I accepted a free YARD SIGN. Apparently, "availing" myself of the yard sign means I will not receive free installation - despite the fact that this is nowhere mentioned in the checkout process. Seems like false advertising to me... The only way around this is to ship everything back to Ring and repurchase without the YARD SIGN. I will be shipping everything back - but I won't be repurchasing. HORRIBLE - 2 THUMBS DOWN.

I’m having the same experience. Very deceptive to promise an email with promo code for free installation after completing the check out process then told later that the purchse is ineligible for the free installation promo. Ring should face a class action suit!

The best solution is to not re-purchase at all. Ring is apparently only interested in selling more and more and more and more, you get the point, subscriptions. Getting rid of mine and looking for a different solution.

Hi Caitlyn - I will follow up on X. To answer your other question, Yes - I added a free Yard Sign. As you can also see if you go through the process of adding the Enhanced Kit to the the cart, there is an offer of free installation and there is no notice that this is void if you add a yard sign (which is supposedly free for all orders over $299).
