Is there a particular format for downloaded videos (Windows 10, Chrome, downloaded from ring.com)? I am interested in date-ordering videos without the need to individually name each file …If there is a format from which I can determine the capture date, would you please share this with us? If the filename is simply an accession code, please accept this message as a request to add a capture date to the download filename. Thanks, Al McCord

Hi @user82760. When downloading videos on your computer, these will typically go to the Downloads folder in your computer’s directory. However, this can vary depending on how your computer is set up. The files may also be downloaded to the Videos folder.

I read that the files are in a zip format. That's fine. But I can't find mention anywhere of where the file is downloaded to on my PC. That seems like a pretty important detail. Paying for a service to save the files is pretty silly if I can't find the downloaded file later. I've looked in downloads, videos, and every Ring folder.
