Updating your neighborhood after you move
neighbors
Hey all, I moved from Frederick to Johnstown a few months back and the neighbor feature still shows notifications from Frederick. Is there a way to update it to show Johnstown now?

Hi @Fatherof4AEIO. If you have only one location in the Ring App and just need to update it, you can do so in the Ring App by tapping on the side menu and then selecting Settings. From there, tap on Change Address and enter in the new address. Try uninstalling the Ring App, restarting your phone, and reinstalling the Ring App if the change doesn't take effect with the Neighbors portion of the app. If you have multiple locations, there should be preferences available for your Neighbors section of the Ring app. When logged into the Ring app, you should be able to visit the Neighbors section from the menu, then tap the gear icon on the Neighbors page. This will bring you to your Neighbors locations, in which notification preferences should be an option here. You will be able to disable the alerts for certain events or locations Should neither of these suggestions work to update the address properly, please give our support team a call at one of the numbers available [here](https://support.ring.com/hc/en-us/articles/213608406). They can take a closer look for you. We’re taking additional steps to protect our team and help reduce the spread of COVID-19, so this has resulted in longer than normal wait times.
