Push Notifications to browser "Not supported?"
trending
notifications

Never could get them to work on Chrome. With Firefox, the Dashboard page doesn’t even work. Could be a FF setting or an Add-on issue. Anyway, I noticed today that the toggle to turn on push notifications is grayed out with a message saying the browser is not supported. I tried both Chrome and Edge and get the same thing. This is a fairly new issue as I’ve been trying to get notifications to work for a couple days and the toggle was turned on.

Hi neighbors. Thank you for sharing this concern. Our team was aware of this and they were working to get it resolved. It is now fixed, and your notification toggle should be working normally now on Ring.com.

I noticed the same thing on Thursday. For quite some time now, when I open my Dashboard, it will say that Push Notifications are not enabled, bud I’ve never changed the settings. Usually when I refresh the page, it shows them correctly enabled. But yesterday, I got the same message you did. It seems to have reverted this morning. But it still starts out showing as not enabled, until I refresh the page. Clearly some sort of bug in the system.

Hi @user_c2964f. Please make sure your web browser is fully updated, and any active VPNs are turned off when accessing Ring.com
