How come the crime map shows my home in a location where I don’t live? There’s a picture of a home/house icon and that’s not where my home is.

That doesn't answer my question. I'm asking why the HOME ICON on this screenshot represents a place where I don't live.

C@rachelcenter My apologises. The Home icon should be in a general area of where you are located, based off of the address you put when setting up the Ring devices. You should be able to go through the settings I outlined if you find the area is not accurate. If you would like to report a severe difference on where your home is and where the Neighbor's app put your general location at, you can always reach out to our support team for further assistance on this, as they will be able to take a more in-depth look into this. For support, please give our support team a call at one of the numbers available [here](https://support.ring.com/hc/en-us/articles/213608406). We're taking additional steps to protect our team and help reduce the spread of COVID-19. This has resulted in longer than normal wait times. If you are outside of the US, please read our response to COVID-19 [here](https://support.ring.com/hc/en-gb/articles/360041597471) to see how to contact support.

Hey @rachelcenter. Thanks for pointing me to this thread, I'm sorry you never got a response here! Happy to help. By default, the Incident Map in the Neighbor's section of the Ring app covers a very large area. You can customize how large this is to avoid crime reports in areas that may be too far. I went into my Ring app \> Main Menu \> Neighbors \> Incident Map and then tapped on the blue question mark icon that is on the outline of the big blue circle. This will prompt you to go to your settings to change this. You can edit it as so from there, and make sure to hit save at the top right when you're done! Hope this helps avoid alerts that are too far from your area in the future. :)
