Pre-Roll from linked device trigger

Installed the Doorbell 3 and noticed the new pre-roll feature (which is a great addition) is not working when the video is triggered by a linked device. For example, if a delivery person parks slightly further down the street and walks up my lawn to the front door, I see the preroll automatically added to the video that is recorded by the doorbell camera. If I get another delivery and that person decides to stop in front of my house (basically, they come from the other direction) my garage floodlight starts recording first and I have it configured to trigger a recording on my Doorbell 3. The preroll is not included in the video that is saved from the Doorbell 3 in this case. Can this feature be added so that I don’t have to unlink the two devices to preserve the preroll footage?
