Linked Device Recording Delay

It would be great if you could set a few second delay on when recording will started when triggered from a linked device. My driveway camera is linked to my doorbell camera, but the doorbell often misses someone approaching because they took 30 seconds to a minute to walk into the camera zone before it stopped recording.
