Higher Resolution; Longer Video Review Time; LPR Cameras

Some feature or new product suggestions: 1. 2K or 4K resolution cameras (wired and wireless). 2. The ability to leave live video on monitor (phone, PC, Amazon Echo, etc) for extended or unlimited amount of time (let the user choose, not Ring), particularly for wired and solar panel connected devices. 3. An LPR (license plate reader) camera. Number 1 above would encourage me to upgrade my cameras to the newer ones. Number 2 above would be a value added feature that most users would appreciate. Number 2 above may be valuable to many customers. Many other companies have one, the other, or all of these features. I like my Ring devices, but feel somewhat limited on what I can do with them. Ring has too tight of a control on what customers can do (example, you can only watch a video live for the amount of time Ring allows you to watch--this should be a user setting). Ring needs to catch up in the 2K/4K game. Ring has been a leader in the home video arena, but many companies have surpassed Ring and have been making 2K and 4K cameras. I often help friends with IT and security related needs and it is hard to recommend Ring (which I always try to do) when other companies offer 2K or 4K and Ring does not. It's time Ring catch up and honor their customers with the dignity of being up to date in this matter.
