Chime (first gen) volume further adjustment

I’d like to request if possible to be able to adjust the physical Chime device’s volume to be lowered even further. I have teamed it with my Ring Doorbell for motion and press and it works fine. However, even at its lowest volume setting (one up from ‘off/no sound’) I find it a bit too loud. Is it possible to offer the volume to be even lower on the slider? Thank you.
