Allow customizable notification sound through 3rd party app

When I'm at a restaurant, if someone's Ring notification goes off, I'll check my phone thinking it was mine. I've seen it also happen to other people. It would be nice to be able to use 3rd party apps that would allow you to change the sound it give you more sound options for the alert notifications.
