Alarm Schedule Issue
I love that you can schedule for your alarm to change mode at a set time, however I have found an issue.i have mine set for every weeknight to change to home and armed (normally I am home and my alarm is disarmed at this time so I set automatically), however the other night I was away so set my alarm to away mode when leaving. When it got to the scheduled time the alarm automatically changed to home mode (which is less secure) and then disarmed in the morning based on the schedule- I didn’t notice and then had to manually change it back to away mode but this left my house vulnerable overnight due to the schedule.can it be made that the schedule doesn’t override the away mode (as this is only used when not in the house it should be kept on as the most secure until someone disarms)

RSame here. I would have thought it was blindingly obvious that nobody would want their security alarm to go into home mode and then disarm itself while they were away, unless I'm missing something? I tried using Alexa as a work around but she can't arm Home mode for some reason, so she's no help either. On the upside I can use my ring security cameras to watch my house getting burgled when the ring alarm disarms itself.

REdit: if you have Alexa, try the following - delete schedule on ring dashboard and create the following routines in Alexa -When: ring:disarmedOnly if: (set time for home mode to activate)Alexa will: ring:arm stayThen another routine to disarm -When ring:armed stayOnly if: (set time to disarm)Alexa will: ring disarmedThis should mean that home mode (stay in Alexa) will only activate if alarm is disarmed and not in away mode, which should solve the problem.I haven't tested this yet as not at home but it seems promising.

Hi @user_6c03bb. You cannot do what you are asking. The Mode will change to what the Mode Schedule is set for, regardless of what mode it is in at that moment.
