Insteon out of business
troubleshooting
smartthings

Well it appears that Insteon has gone out of business. I now have wall switches, light bulbs, and indoor/ outdoor modules that no longer work. Trying to figure out what I do now. Need a company that is reliable and will be around in the future. It would be great if Ring could step up and fill the void.

You can still use your Insteon products using a different hub. Universal Devices ISY 994 supports Insteon (I have used this for many years and it is working to this day) , it will also allow integration with Google and Alexa. I bought one that also supports zwave so I can replace switches with zwave if necessary. Unfortunately Insteon for me was the best product for the money. I have over 70 devices in my house. Ring would probably just bring out a zwave device.
