Ring doorbell 2 not charging
12 months old. Suddenly, it flashes when plugged in for a couple of minutes then goes off. Battery looks flat on app. Will not charge. Tried resetting. Any ideas?

Mine did the same. Spent half hour on phone to romg. Left plugged in overnight but still not charged. Pressed reset in the end and finally got it to charge but then motion sensor didn't work. Camera had condensation inside. Mine's only 13 months old. Motion sensor working now but video quality very poor. Contacted ring again but they said not covered by warranty. Under consumer rights 2015 there is an expected life, according to ring 5 to 10 years. Was offered 30% off replacement. Cancelled subscription

Hi @user_ae9a7f. Try a different power outlet with the charging cable. Allow the battery to charge for up to 6 to 8 hours, then reset the Doorbell by holding down the setup button for 20 seconds. Once the reset is done, walk through a new setup in the Ring app. If the Doorbell is still unresponsive after trying the steps listed above, please follow up with our support team for further assistance.
