Ring Doorbell Pro Install Height

I’m installing a new Ring Doorbell Pro. I know the suggested install height is 48” above the ground. My current Doorbell is 40” above the front porch deck which is 3 steps above the ground and the door is about 40’ from the curb. Will the 40” height of the Ring Doorbell install location work?

Hey @Srjones67. You shouldn't experience any issues with that installation height, but if you do we offer a Wedge Kit that can help angle the Doorbell's view if needed. You can view the Wedge Kit on our website [here](https://shop.ring.com/products/wedge-kit-for-video-doorbell-pro). This is typically useful in situations where someone has stairs leading up to their door, so you may not even need it since you have some steps leading up to your door already. :)
