Spotlight Camera Plus Solar
I installed a Spotlight Camera Plus with Ring original solar panel and a moount. Battery levels have been dropping at about 2-3% per day, and never going up even 1% when solar panel in full sun. Some weird stuff also happening. The Battery status icon in the app always shows a green battery with a sun and a lightning bolt as the panel is charging, even at night!! I have a stickup cam with solar and that shows correct icons (sun and bolt during the day, only sun and no bolt with panel connected at night). Took the camera down to troubleshoot. Disconnect the panel and it shows the battery icon only. Reconnect the panel same thing, always sun and bolt regardless of sun hitting the panel. Then I try to connect the Spotlight cam to a my phone USB-C charger and I get a notification that the camera is now hardwired (icon with green battery and lighting bolt but no sun). I'm out of ideas here... something it wrong either with the Spotlight firmware or the solar panel. Any other ideas on how to fix that beside returning the whole package and getting something else?

Hi @user_a60d68. Try unplugging the Ring Solar Panel, then restarting the Spotlight Cam by holding down the setup button for 20 seconds. After the reset is done, walk through a new setup in the Ring app using the steps under Set Up a Device. Once the above steps are done, reconnect the Ring Solar Panel and monitor the camera's behavior.
