Contact sensor keeps going offline

I have a sensor that I placed on a window that’s keeps going offline. I tried removing it from alarm and readding it. I trifled moving it to a new location. I switched places with another sensor. It’s not location as it now doesn’t work on the new location. The sensor I switched with worked in the old location and it works in the new location. The battery is not giving me a low message. It’s a new sensor and slam system. I am at a loss.

It helps eliminate some of the potential issues. There is a possibility that when you initially set up this Contact sensor, that it may have downloaded slightly corrupted Firmware when it updated. This could be causing your issue. You can do a Factory reset on the Contact sensor, which will clean out any downloaded Firmware, and return it to the basic Factory Firmware that it came with from the manufacturer. Once the Factory reset is done, you will repeat the setup procedures and it will again download updated Firmware, hopefully a nice clean un-corrupted version. I don't know whether you have the Gen1 or Gen2 Contact Sensor. So I included both links to each Generation version. There you'll find the instructions for performing the Factory Reset on your Contact Sensor. For Gen1 Contact Sensor: [https://support.ring.com/hc/en-us/articles/360042739451-Troubleshooting-your-Contact-Sensor-1st-generation-](https://support.ring.com/hc/en-us/articles/360042739451-Troubleshooting-your-Contact-Sensor-1st-generation-) For Gen2 Contact Sensor: [https://support.ring.com/hc/en-us/articles/360042311972-Troubleshooting-your-Contact-Sensor-2nd-generation-](https://support.ring.com/hc/en-us/articles/360042311972-Troubleshooting-your-Contact-Sensor-2nd-generation-) If the steps in the above links do not resolve your issue, you should telephone Ring Support for help into what is causing the issue: [https://support.ring.com/hc/en-us/articles/360036196372-Get-in-Touch](https://support.ring.com/hc/en-us/articles/360036196372-Get-in-Touch) Unfortunately, due to the Covid-19, their available hours have been changed also: [https://support.ring.com/hc/en-us/articles/360041597471-Ring-s-Response-to-COVID-19](https://support.ring.com/hc/en-us/articles/360041597471-Ring-s-Response-to-COVID-19) I hope this helps you with your Contact sensor. :)
