Mounting adhesive
Is the mounting tape replaceable? I live in the southwest and want to pre-order. The sun is exceptionally bright and hot in the summer. Most window adhesives don't last. Thanks.

The video looks like it’s pretty snug without the adhesive if the adhesive wears out would it just stay wedged in without adhesive?

CHi @Lefty16. We recommend making sure the Ring Car Cam is securely mounted in your vehicle to prevent it from falling or dislodging, especially when you are driving. If you notice the adhesive wears out and it is not securely installed, we'd suggest reapplying double sided tape, such as the 3M brand, to make sure the Car Cam stays safely in place. :)

Hi @PEGASUS74. You can use standard 3M double sided tape as an adhesive.
