Do I need an extra subscription?

When I bought the new camera, I thought the subscription was covered through the subscription I already had (for my summer house). The new camera was intended for a special situation where we had craftsmen in the home while we were on holiday. Thus, our ordinary alarm system could not be activated. The question now is whether I can take out a new temporary subscription the next time a similar situation should arise? As I said, we also have a very good alarm and monitoring system in the house.

Hi @user47461. The Ring Basic subscription applies to one device at one location, while the Ring Plus and Pro subscriptions apply to one location. If you installed a device at a secondary location, your existing plan would not cover it. In the case of installing a camera at a secondary location for a temporary amount of time, you could choose the Basic plan with a monthly billing schedule, then cancel it once you no longer need it.
