Wired spotlight interfering with my garage door opener

troubleshooting

I just installed a wired spotlight over my garage doors. The garage is separate from the house, so I have a garage door opener mounted on the wall next to the house door. It stopped working, so I changed the batteries. I thought I had that fixed, but it stopped again. I had an epiphany and, sure enough, it turns out that the opener will not work when the spotlight is on. Not at all. The two inside my cars do a little better, but their range is severly shortened when the light is lit. Other than just taking it down and replacing it, there doesn't seem to be much I can do about it.

Is there any update to this. I just installed a spotlight only and I'm having the garage door opener interference as well. This is really a deal breaker.

I am having the same issue. After the floodlight is motion activated, the garage remotes do not work. Has RING written a product bulletin or a solution for this problem? It is very clear that either the bright led or the wifi signal when it reports motion via the RING hub is interfering.

Same issue, just installed the ring motion floodlight (not with camera) and I have twi issues: 1) interferes with garage door opener (craftsman) when the light is on. 2) at that price I can't believe it doesn't have dawn to dusk sensor. Bought a different brand for $23 and it had dusk to dawn and didn't interfere with garage door open, returned it because lumens were only 1000..saw the ring and seeing I have the door bell I said why not...what a mistake and I'm returning it in a couple of days!
