Smart plug using echo bridge keeps disconnecting
connectivity
troubleshooting

I had no idea that I needed a bridge. The plug connected to my echo and I have used it. But it keeps disconnecting. I connect again and a week goes by and it disconnects. The echo does not go down and it is about 20 feet away. Can I reboot the smart plug? Does anyone have suggestions. I would not have purchase this if I had to buy a bridge.

Hi @Tim_notring. You can use an Amazon Echo (4th gen) or an Echo Show 10 (3rd gen) as a Bridge for Ring Smart Lighting devices. When you say that the Smart Plug is disconnecting, what does it say in the Ring app? Feel free to attach any screenshots to show us what you're seeing on your end.

It doesn’t stay connected. I am not able to reboot it. I can’t access it unless I do it physically. I have to delete the device then add it again just to get it to work and it automatically connects to the Amazon device

@Tim_notring Thank you for sharing those screenshots. If possible, try moving the Echo Dot closer to your Smart Plugs to see if that helps stabilize the connection between them.
