Pathway Lights Not Charging

troubleshooting
I bought a set of solar path lights. They are charging very slowly if they are at all. This may be because they are underneath a large tree in front of my house. Yesterday, I moved the light closest to the front door to the backyard which gets direct sunlight for 4-5 hours, but it took several hours for the light’s battery to go from 25% to 31%. It was 23% this morning and I brought it inside to charge, but less than 30 minutes later it went from 23% to 0%.

Hi @Danny8890. Try fully charging the Solar Pathlights with the provided charing cable. This may take about 6 to 8 hours. once they are fully charged, set them back up outside and ensure they are receiving adequate direct sunlight each day. Additionally, the battery may drain more quickly than expected if they are frequently lighting up with motion detection. You can find more troubleshooting steps for your Solar Pathlights in our Help Center article [here](https://support.ring.com/hc/en-us/articles/360041789191-Troubleshooting-Unexpected-Battery-Drain-in-Ring-Solar-Smart-Lights). I hope this helps! :)
