Changing Wi-Fi Password on Ring Bridge
After having difficulty getting our Ring Bridge back online following a Wi-Fi password change, I thought I'd share my experience here in case it helps others who experience the same issue. We changed the password on our Wi-FI network and had the hardest time trying to update the new password onto the Ring Bridge - it just could not successfully connect to the bridge to allow me to provide the necessary update. After having spent 1+ hours last night and another 30 minutes again today, I finally decided to complete one final step before breaking down and calling Ring Support for help. That step was to put my phone in Airplane Mode and the second I did it, the screen in the Ring app popped up for me to choose the Wi-Fi network we wanted to use and key in the new password. So, based on my experience, my theory is that putting your phone into airplane mode will allow you to update the Wi-Fi password successfully.
