Alexa can't unlock the door
My intercom phone set : (Urmet 1133/15) set to mode 2 wires(1+n) The intercom of my building does not report any state lock/unlock for the door. If you unlock the door then after a delay, automatically the door is locked, nothing more. In this case : — Ring app indicates the state “ready”. — Alexa indicate the state “unlocked” definitively. Now, ask for Alexa to unlock the door. Alexa answers “door is unlocked”. But it is not the case. I wonder if Alexa seeing the door unlock does nothing when you ask for Alexa to unlock the door. Perhaps Alexa after a delay by itself must change the state to “locked”.

Sorry, but I did not receive any mail notifying me there is an answer. Urmet 1133/15) set to mode 2 wires (1+n), analog intercom connection of the ring intercom : A1 red → 1 A2 brown ⇾ 2 connection diagram of the Urmet : I confirm that I can open the door with the ring app. I confirm that the Urmet works well : - the Urmet rings - we can converse - I can open the door When someone rings, then : - Alexa warns me with the echo dot - we can see the green light of the ring intercom. - when I say "Alexa réponds à l'interphone" ("interphone" is the name of the ring intercom device) then Alexa answers "il n'y aucun appel entrant" "Alexa réponds à l'interphone" = "Alexa answer to the interphone" "il n'y aucun appel entrant" = "there is no incoming call"

>> Please also confirm if you’re able to open the door when using the Ring app but not when using Alexa. Additionally, also let us know if it is necessary to ring the bell, to open the door with the existing Intercom or if it can it be opened without ringing. We look forward to hearing back from you. I will test again all the cases

Here in Alexa the "interphone" is "déverrouillé" (unlocked). It is always in this state.

Hi @promeneur. Thanks for contacting us regarding this. We'd be happy to take a closer look at this with you. If possible please provide us with pictures of your current wiring and of the cover of your intercom. Please also confirm if you're able to open the door when using the Ring app but not when using Alexa. Additionally, also let us know if it is necessary to ring the bell, to open the door with the existing Intercom or if it can it be opened without ringing. We look forward to hearing back from you.
