Shared users alerting on app
I know that the ring app does not support multiple accounts, however my question is based around shared accounts. This is the scenario 1) My mum has a ring doorbell & camera setup 2) I want to purchase a ring doorbell for my house However i want to be able to get alerts from both properties. I am thinking of doing the following 1) My mum shares her account with me 2) My wife setups our house doorbell with her account and then shares with me Therefore on my ring app, i will have 2 shared accounts. Will this work and if so, how do the alerts come up - will they come up for either account seamlessly or do i need to be focused on the location in the app for the alerts for on my account? Hope that is clear - i just want to be able to have alerts for both locations seamlessly without having to do anything on the app apart from accepting the shared request.

Hi @user_0bcf5f. You can have multiple locations in the Ring app, they are not considered separate accounts. When someone adds you as a Shared User, this adds a new location to your Ring account with the shared device. You can toggle alerts on or off for a shared device, the same way you can for a device you set up. It does not matter which location you are currently viewing in the Ring app, as you do not need the Ring app open to receive alerts from devices at any location on your account.
