Is there a way to get recorded footage from my Ring app from 2021? I need it for proof in a court case and realized I can’t go back that far on my app. I thought it would always be available and didn’t save the footage to another device and now I’m devastated that I can’t get it. Does the company have this ability?

Hi @user_c80707. No, videos can only be retained in the Ring app for up to 180 days with an active Ring Home subscription. Once a video has been deleted, either manually or because the video storage time ran out, it cannot be recovered. There are no backup copies stored for your privacy. I always recommend downloading any videos you may need to keep to your phone or computer.
