unable to return peephole camera doorbell
Ongoing since so long now I can't recall. Broken cable on peephole cam, couldn't get the part from USA, Ring UK couldn't supply the the part kit so they very graciously sent a complete replacement doorbell. Had it now for about two months. All good. Repeatedly contacted CX to arrange return however, as our new build address doesn't appear on some address finder DBs a label couldn't be provided. Nobody can give me the address to return it to so eventually Ring CX suggested PDP collection. That was due on Jan 2 between 10 and 12. DPD never appeared (I'm in all day, work from home), nor did they collect Amazon return for a similar long on-going return of a Goal Zero faulty product. DPD seldom find our house, we just don't exists as far as they're concerned. Long and short is I finally got Amazon package returned because they could provide an address (albeit Slovakia!) and return label but not heard a peep from Ring.I've all-but given up trying to get a workable solution to returning the original doorbell. Can't say how many times I've thought how much simpler a push-button with a length of doorbell wire to a ringer is, and if they go wrong they generally don't require endless log-ins, 2FA texts, generated support numbers, and phone calls trying to explain why a label won't work and DPD are a useless courier company. Anyone with any suggestions? I'm happy enough with the replacement, just don't want to get on the wrong side of Ring for not returning a busted doorbell. Replacement part kit (if available) is £2.99 of which the cable would be about 50p . . . it's nuts.

Hi @user_7e5bbf. If you received a replacement unit, you should have also received a return label to send back the defective unit. Please send us a private message on Facebook or X @Ring or give our support team a call at one of the numbers available here.
