Ring doorbell clicking at night

Hi, I have a ring doorbell about 18mths old and all of a sudden it's started clicking at night. The recordings look like someone is flicking a light switch on and off. Ive tried rebooting it from the app and then a reset from the doorbell (orange button).. both these actions have made no difference. Any help, advice or suggestions would be gratefully receieved.thanks for reading this.
