Ring Doorbell 2 non- responsive
Hi, Suddenly my ring doorbell 2 non -wired just stopped working. It had a good charge left on it. But I disconnected it, re-charged it for 24 hours and then pressed orange button on the back. It wont respond - no spinning lights. . Bought in 2019 I think. I’m stuck on what to try. Thanks

Hi neighbors. If your Doorbell is unresponsive, always ensure to charge the battery fully using the provided charging cable. It may take up to 8 hours to fully charge when plugged into a standard power outlet. Then attempt to reset your Doorbell by holding down the setup button for 20 seconds. Try completing a setup in the Ring app using the steps under Set Up a Device. If that doesn't work, the next step is to follow up with our [support team](https://support.ring.com/hc/en-gb/articles/213608406#store-call-us) to see what other options are available.

EI have the same issue. My doorbell just stopped working despite a battery health test in the app showing 97% hours earlier. Upon close inspection, the circuit breaker to the doorbell had stopped working so I replaced it. The doorbell still doesn't work so I suspected the transformer. However, in the meantime I charged the lithium battery manually just to be sure, and plugged it back in.....nothing, no spinning white light, nothing. So what is causing it to be non-responsive?? Why wouldn't it work with a charged battery, regardless of the transformer?
