Why did I receive a wedge backplate instead of a regular flat backplate on my doorbell plus? I already have a regular Ring doorbell but needed the upgrade for quick battery release due to arthritis
The Ring plus came with a wedge backplate which won’t sit flush on my front door, can I get a flat backplate anywhere?

Hi @user_338add. The corner mount included with the Battery Doorbell Plus is optional. If you do not need it to angle the Doorbell's view, you would just skip that step in the installation and mount the Doorbell directly to the wall. You can reference the installation steps here. I hope this helps!
