Doorbell not charging when plugged into mains

I am trying to charge my battery operated doorbell and it’s not charging at all. I have followed the instructions given, it is not lighting up, neither is it connecting to the wi-fi…does anyone know why it’s not working?

Hi @user49646. I would recommend first fully charging the battery on your Doorbell using the USB charging cable and then setting it up. Once that is done, hardwire your Doorbell, and after a few days, check to see if it is being trickle charged with the hardwiring. Let me know how this works out for you.

Most of the time mine is around 77% but when I first installed the mains I turned the doorbell to disarm and that worked for me.
