Clocks Going Back missed Notification.
troubleshooting

Have a doorbell plus - it's been working fine and every person walking within the designated area creates a ntofication. However, I noticed this morning that a notification was missing (yes I went out and danced in front of the doorbell first thing this morning to make sure it was still working - it was - the dancing was terrible). I then thought.... Last night in the UK the clocks went back. I went out at 01:50 (27-10-2024) to pick up the daughter inlaw - the doorbell picked me up shuffling past wishing I was in bed. However, the doorbell completly missed our return at what I guestimate was 02:20 - 02:30 (27-10-2024). As above the doorbell is working fine this morning, unlike my dancing.  The timestamp in the App - is the same as my Phone (Android) which automatically adjusts for the clocks going back.  My location is set as the UK,  I am wondering if the hour going back in the UK has caused a problem with the Ring platform? Has any one else seen this?

Hi @user_79ea4f. That should have not affected your Doorbell notifications. Are you still having the same issue with your notifications?

Hi No the doorbell has been functioning perfectly since, picks up everything, just seem to miss the activity  at that time, and Im too much of a cynic to ignore the fact that it was the hour that the clocks go back.

Hi @user_70ea4f. Well, I'm going to need to see this dancing to confirm. 😂 Have you tried checking your History on Ring.com? The video may be easier to find there.

Hi I have been having the same problem since the clocks changed. And my phone doesn't automatically update so the activity in the event history list shows up straight away but the time stamp is an hour ahead, whilst the live history is an hour behind so any activity shows up an hour later. I have done a reboot. I am thinking i either need to uninstall the app and reinstall it or remove device and re-add device

Hi @user_e83855. What time zone do you live in and what time zone is your video being displayed in? Can you share any screenshots of these events? What type of phone do you have and what version of the Ring app is installed? If you view the videos on Ring.com, is the time zone the same?
