I just installed a solar charger and a ring video doorbell 2Generation. The charger has a mini usb port and not the screw terminal. I connected the usb to the usb port at the back of the doorbell. However the app says the Solar Status not connected. Please advice

Hi @SolaO. Yes, the Solar Charger for the Ring Doorbell (2nd Generation) connects to the Doorbell via micro-USB connector. The Solar Charger requires 3-4 hours of direct sunlight per day in order to provide a trickle charge. The Device Health page in the Ring app will still show that the power source is a battery, and not solar. You can learn more about the Solar Charger here.
