New Ring door bell quite working

I just bought my Ring camera four days ago. The installation went fine, but after one day, th ring was not capturing vehicles, and then it would go hours without capturing anything, even though at least ten cars went by. And then it just didn't work at all. I've spent more than four hours trying to get it back online, missed a birthday part. It took so long to eload it. It has been an awful, awful user experience, and the person was not with me when trying to reinstall, which made it so much more cumbersome and long. Terrible
